I live in Thailand.Around 2 Months Ago I had my Galaxy S5 Stolen, and decided to replace it with a Xiamai MI Note I ordered the Xiamai from a large Chinese Online Company called dhGATE.
When the phone arrived I had lots of Difficulty using it in Thailand!! I could not import my Microsoft A/C and there were Generally lots of Issues. I spent around $20 in Thai Phone Shops trying to get it set up Properly. Thailand is not one of the Countries where Xiamai is sold so of course there was no support!!
The Seller, very Kindly agreed to take the Phone back and dh Gate who still had the money would Refund me when the Phone was Returned!! The Seller asked me not to use a DHL or FED EX type of Company as the Phone would be held up in Customs For Ever!! I paid to send it by Registered Airmail ( I had offered to Pay as the Seller had paid to Ship it to me!!!
Last Wednesday my Thai Postman turned up at my house with The Phone which I had Shipped 8 Days Previously. I managed to find out that the Package had been XRAYED and as the Battery was still in the Phone they would not put it on the Plane!!
This is when my real Problems started the Resolution Centre and more precisely Someone calling themselves KURT were totally unsympathetic and just told me to Ship it again and input a New Tracking Number!! I am afraid I become rather angry at this point as I felt I had been trying my best and no mention was made of the fact I would have to pay the Shipping cost a second time!! In fact Kurtz Attitude was abrupt and unsympathetic!!!
Throughout this whole sorry little Saga the Seller has been great but Kurt at dhGATE has behaved appallingly!!
Message (1) from Kurt. Regarding your dispute with order 1578349998, through the check your return tracking number shows on the way. If you have returned the package already, please offer the logistic sheet and receipt to be an evidence. If the package back to you please return again. And reoffer the new tracking number to us.

Because according to your agreement between you and seller. You should return first then get refund. If you can not return we can not refund you. If we do that the seller will loss so much. To be as the third party we have to judge fair. We will close the dispute today. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.
I have offered in Conjunction with the Seller to try and find another way to return the Phone. As I stated I have no problem with the Seller but I would Cheerfully Struggle the Odious KURT!! It is pretty rich that Kurt rights how much the seller stands to loose but I as a dhGATE Customer am of no Consequence!!!
